Maultz Construction installed Ludowici Brittany Shingle Tile throughout these changing forms, with precise layout, coursing, cutting and transitions bringing the roofscape together.

A complex roof asks more of an installer than covering a flat field. Every dormer, valley and change in direction affects the next course. Across thousands of individual pieces, the work is to maintain a coherent pattern.

On the turrets, the tile follows the curve. Where roof planes intersect, the layout must resolve the transition without losing the visual continuity of the larger roof.

From one elevation to another, the roof’s texture and rhythm take on a different presence. Broad fields allow the surface to read at scale; the smaller forms reveal the individual courses.

The rear views show how the same roofing material connects the residence’s changing heights and architectural forms.
