Southbury Continuous-Seam Metal Roof

THE PROJECT
A complete structural and thermal rebuild beneath an all-metal roof.
This project went far beyond replacing the visible roof. After opening the existing assembly, we removed approximately one foot of deteriorated insulation with a telehandler, rebuilt the compromised roof framing and installed new polyisocyanurate insulation before completing the new metal roof.
WHAT MADE IT DIFFERENT
- Approximately one foot of deteriorated insulation removed with a telehandler
- Compromised roof areas reframed and new polyisocyanurate insulation installed
- No silicone sealant used in the finished roof
- No exposed face-fastened screws used in the finished roof
- Roof completed with formed metal details and continuous seams
