Email alerts for new project inquiries, delivered to our business Gmail account.
What the app does
Maultz Website Notifications supports the Maultz Construction website’s contact form. When a visitor submits a project inquiry, the website saves the inquiry in a private inbox. The app then sends an email alert to maultzconstruction@gmail.com so the website owner knows there is a new message to review.
The alert contains a link to the private inquiry inbox. It does not include the customer’s name, contact details, or project message. The app also sends a test email when the owner tests and enables the connection.
Who uses it
This is an administrative tool for the Maultz Construction website owner. Customers do not connect their Google accounts or grant Gmail permissions when they submit a roofing inquiry. Access to saved inquiries and email settings is restricted to the website owner.
Why it requests Gmail access
The owner authorizes the business Gmail account through Google. The app requests only the Gmail permission to send email (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send). It uses that permission to send notification and test emails from the authorized business account to maultzconstruction@gmail.com.
The app does not request permission to read existing emails, access contacts, or access Google Drive. It stores encrypted authorization credentials to maintain the connection. Google account access is not used for advertising, data sales, or training generalized AI models.
Connection controls
The owner can connect, reconnect, test, or disconnect Gmail in the private email settings. Disconnecting removes the saved connection credentials from the active website database and stops notifications. Authorization can also be revoked through Google Account connections.
